Our Homecoming History

What began in 2001 as a small gesture of making mini-mums for my son’s football team and their parents has grown into so much more. Jess Creations has expanded to creating Homecoming mums and Garters throughout the local Rio Grande Valley as well as to cities all over Texas and other states. Yes! We do ship out orders. Many families move out of state and they want to continue to carry on the tradition of having mums and garters to make their children’s Jr. High/High School Homecoming experience even more special.

In 2016 we expanded our Homecoming Accessories to Spirit Apparel and Spirit Jeans—created by my daughter, Gabriela C Torres.

Amid all the chaos of the 2021 Homecoming season, Jess Creations was blessed with the opportunity to be featured in the Texas Monthly Homecoming Article! Every year we continue to grow and are grateful to those who make it possible!

Our Mums and Garters

We are accepting Pre-Orders for the Homecoming 2025 Season!

We take pride in creating Homecoming Accessories and Spirit Apparel for others and create them extra special as if they were our very own. We give our mums and garters the touch of elegance and traditional handwork. All bears, bows, and braids that are included are all decorated, handcrafted, and braided from scratch!

Our mums and garters are custom made and can be created as desired. From simple to detailed, as well as from small to Texas sized. They will vary in look and pricing due to customizations to flower size and other add-ons, so many will never look exactly alike. Our Spirit Jeans and Apparel

We are accepting Pre-Orders for the Homecoming 2025 Season!

Our Spirit Jeans are carefully hand-designed and decorated by my daughter, Gabriela. We offer to hand design and decorate not only jeans but overalls, shorts, skirts, and jean jackets as well. A fully decorated Spirit Jean will take about 3 to 4 days to complete to allow appropriate drying time, so we request to have orders placed at least 2 weeks before your specific school’s Homecoming Date/Parade.

We ask for you to provide us with exactly what you would like to have on your Spirit Apparel as well as the physical jean, overall, skirt, short, or jean jacket that you would like to be decorated.
